The Outside

The Outside is streaming everywhere.

This song is unabashedly Springsteen. And it captures something I’ve always felt living in NYC: everywhere you look, there are beautiful people on their way to do beautiful things. And all you can do is watch them go by and try to survive another night.

At its core, this song is simply about what it feels like to walk around the East Village by yourself at night.

It’s also the final single from my upcoming album, Empty Country, out everywhere July 16th.
