The 2050 Scenario

“We’re just two future ghosts on a speck of space dust floating through infinity.”

So goes the lyrics in my latest single.

I wrote The 2050 Scenario about an impending climate apocalypse. Seems apt that it comes out today while a record-breaking heat wave scorches the country.

Which I imagine is something a lot of you worry about. (Let’s just say it’s no surprise that “59% of youth and young adults said they were very or extremely worried about climate change.”)

But, like most of my songs, The 2050 Scenario is also about hope—hope that we can find redemption in this world. That maybe, by looking honestly at the world we live in and we’re where heading, we can find a way towards some kind of salvation, however grand or small.
